Teaching Old Dogs New Tricks
Through photography and for the past decade I've been able to work with some of the greatest people doing inspirational things all while being published in magazines I'm proud to work with.
A good portion of my photography career has afforded me the opportunity to spend time shooting rock climbing in and around the Ontario Canada scene. For a period of time I was also a board member for the Ontario Access Coalition. Life changes and travel time meant I had to step away but those years continue to be really important to me. The work the OAC does continues. Without them so many of the best climbs in the province would be out of reach and unknown to so many. It's a tiring and thankless job which faces daily uphill battles. The OAC have recently taken over the management of a very popular and important crag to the climbing scene in Ontario.
In the latest edition of Gripped Magazine they profile this new management plan for Old Baldy and I'm excited to have the article cover shot in full page. The image below has always been a favourite of mine. It looks west across Beaver Valley with the route "Show Across The Bow" in the foreground. Get to your favourite newsstand and pick up a copy of Gripped and if you haven't already, sign up for a membership with the OAC
