You never know when that client is going to cancel last minute or when the sun will be unexpectedly shinning. Friends never give you a heads up before that call or text that they are heading out and need company... and of course, they are leaving NOW!

So while these scenarios can't be foreseen, you can make sure you're always ready to roll. Here's the tip. Pick and prep your kit, gear, and supplies in advance. Keep it either with your bike or laid out somewhere nearby. That way you don't have to spend precious minutes choosing kit, packing food, and finding your shoes. The added bonus is that seeing it there will likely be additional motivation to get on the bike.
